Gaining Clarity: A Boss Experience

Last week, I sat down and I got CLEAR.

I got clear on the vision and the mission that I have for my life.

I initially decided to discuss that topic because I wanted to support my tribe, you, in getting clear on your personal life’s mission and having a productive year and life.

A lot of people were coming to me saying that they were confused and didn’t know what direction they should go.

After completing the exercise for myself, I gained even more clarity on my purpose and how I want to spend my days in my old age.

If you have not completed the previous exercises, I encourage you to do so right away.

This week, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what I want my 2021 to look like.

I asked myself,

“What am I going to do in 2021 to help me fulfill my mission?”

“What am I going to do in 2021 to get me closer to the life that envision for myself?”

Asking myself those questions helped me to put a lot of things in perspective.

5 Questions to Support You in Identifying Your Life’s Purpose

11.23

Happy Monday!

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to host a “Breakfast and Visions” with a group of dope Black entrepreneurs and community leaders from the city of Wilmington, De.

I love hosting those type of events because it gives me the opportunity to support dope people in getting clear about what it is that they want to accomplish in their life and in their business.

I love it!

The conversations that we had during our transformational session, is what inspired this week’s blog post.

I know most of you who read my content are ready to live life on your own terms.

You want to do what you want, when you want.

You want to travel the world, start businesses, give back to your community, and live in peace!

I feel you.

I am with you.

For you to obtain the lifestyle you want, it is important for you to get clear on your Personal Mission Statement .

I am sure if you have worked for any organization, you have heard of a mission statement. It the statement that describes what the organization is about that you are associated with.

Your Personal Mission Statement is bigger than that.

Getting clear on your Personal Mission Statement will support you in making decisions in your life that align with your purpose and core values.

What is a Personal Mission Statement?

Your Personal Mission Statement describes 3 things

  1. who you are
  2. what you do
  3. why you do it

Your Personal Mission Statement helps you to identify your purpose in your life!

Here are 5 questions that you can ask yourself to support you in developing your Personal Mission Statement:

  1. What are my core values?
  2. Who do I serve?
  3. How do I make their lives better?
  4. What do I want to accomplish in my life?
  5. What am I passionate about?

Please remember when developing your Personal Mission Statement:

  • You must write It down
  • It should be no more than 2 sentences.
  • This is the first step in manifesting the life you desire
  • Share your vision with others

5 Foods You Must Add to Your Diet As A Diabetic

Hey hey!

Happy Wednesday!

This week on my blog for Diabetes Awareness Month, I am shedding light on this disease called Diabetes.

I hope that you have been enjoying and learning from my content on diabetes over the last few days.

Check out my previous post if you haven’t done so already!

This topic is important to me because my daughter was diagnosed in 2018.

Since then, I see so many people in my community affected by this disease.

I don’t like it.

I am using this week as an opportunity to shed light on the the disease, and to help those who have it, manage it.

Today I will be sharing with you 5 foods that you must add to your diet as a diabetic.

When I include these items into my daughters diet, she has better numbers!

Add these items to your diet or the diet of someone you love.

Let’s get into it!

  1. Cucumbers

They are a great source of fiber and because they contain a high amount of water, that helps to regulate the blood sugar.

My daughter has cucumbers often, with tad bit of ranch dressing. She loves it!

2. Keto Friendly  Multiseed Bread

I get it from Aldi’s! It is vegan friendly. One slice of bread has only 9g of carbs, 5g of protein, 2g of fat. I love the bread and my kids love it too!

3. Little Salad Bar Salad Bowl Chicken Caesar Salad

I also get these salads from Aldi’s. They are so good! I have seen them before but Aldi’s is the cheapest.

4. Yogurt and Granola

-Follow the serving sizes on the back of the packaging.

-When choosing your yogurt make sure you look at the ingredients to ensure that there is no HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, Fructose, Maize Syrup, Glucose Syrup, Fruit Fructose, and Crystalline fructose.

-When choosing your granola, make sure you look at a few of the different types of granola that are on the aisle. Choose the option that you will find tasty but also has low carbs

5. Cinnamon –

One day I was reading my pops book on natural health. It is a thick book and I came across the health benefits of cinnamon and how it can help reduce blood sugars. I have found that it does help with keeping my daughters blood sugars leveled, when I include it in her diet. Maybe it can work for you as well. We use the liquid form from Vitamin Shoppe. I make what she calls a “tea” lol and she drinks the concoction with one of her meals.

There are many foods that I have added to her diet over the last year. And I am still looking for foods and recipes that will support me in meeting her needs of having low carb but delicious food!

If you are a diabetic, I would love to hear the foods that you eat to support you in having low blood sugars.

If you know of any low carb recipes period, I would love to hear from you.

The 4 Strategies You Need to Add to Your Goal Planning Process!

Hey Developers!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope this week is treating you well!

On this lovely Wednesday, I wanted to share with you 4 strategies that you MUST implement in your GOAL PLANNING process right now to ensure that you bring what it is that you envision into fruition!

Strategy #1 “Your Goal must be declared in PEACE”

One of thing that you must understand is that our natural state is PEACE. Anything decision that we make not based on the foundation of PEACE was not made by us but by that emotional trigger.

For example, you have Kareem and Malcolm who are both “smokers”.

Kareem has been considering quitting smoking for about a month now. He went from smoking 5 cigarettes a day and now down to one cigarette a day. He decides that today is the day he will quit.

Malcolm is a smoker as well. Malcolm is up late night watching television and he sees a commercial taking about the negative affects of smoking. He decides to stop smoking right then and there.

Who do you think will have better chance of not picking up at a pack of cigarettes again?

My money is on Kareem. He decision was made in overtime, with thought, and while he was at PEACE.

Malcolm decided to quit smoking based off of his emotions that were triggered by a commercial. Normally decisions/goals made when emotionally triggered do not last.

Strategy #2 “Your Goal must be in harmony with others “

Listen, I know what it is like, to want to make it to the “top” so you can sh** on the people who did not believe in you. I am human. I have my list lol. However, your goal cannot be based selfishly on the well being of you and only your come up.

Your goal cannot be founded upon hate, fear, desperation, manipulation if your goal to have longevity.

I am the founder of 2 business right now. The Stand and Antinette Develops. The purposes of my business are to make money, however, more importantly I want to create jobs, fund opportunities, make dreams come true.

How do others benefit from your dream?

Strategy #3 “You must make time to act on the success of others “

It is a must that you help others reach their success. We cannot have a crab in a barrel mentality and think that we are going to reach the goals that we set for ourselves. I believe this strategy is my favorite. I love it so much I made a business out of it.

I do not believe that by helping your light to shine, I am somehow dimming my own. That is a poor mans thinking and she is not poor!

There has been plenty of times while I am helping someone else WIN I meet someone who can get me a few steps closer to my goal.

If you want to WIN. Help others WIN!

Strategy #4 “You must expect it to happen”

This strategy seems easy but it is HARD! If you come from where I come from. You have experienced things not working out for you, more often than NOT. If you want to manifest your ideal life, you have to expect that you ideal life is going to happen. It is not your place to worry about how it is going to happen or when it is going to happen. Just focus on the fact that it is going to happen for you. God wouldn’t place a vision in you  that you were not able to manifest!
